Having read this I thought it was really informative. I
appreciate you finding the time and effort to put this informative article
together. I once again find myself spending way
too much time both reading and commenting. But so what, it was still worth
it!
Let me know when your next book is published so I can purchase. I love the first one. Very helpful exercises.
Rebecca,
I’ll be glad to let you know. I am currently developing an on-line course that will hopefully be out by August. After that I’ll be winding up the book. Are you aware that the first book has been revised and updated with a few more tutorials?
please let me know when your next book is available. I have the updated version of your first book. I am interested in the on line opportunity in August…
thank you
Win Normandi
Thanks Win,
I’ll certainly let you know. The content is already mapped out. I just have to get it all edited!
I’d like to see an original picture of your painting of Bass Harbor from 1986? Would you be able to post one for me? Thank You. — Gloria
Gloria,
I’ll see what I can do. Would you prefer that I send it directly to you? I think you can find a copy on http://www.donrankinfineart.com
Copies also exist in my book, 50 Questions… I hope this helps.
Hi Don,
Since your book on glazing was originally published, have you tried Daniel Smith or Graham paints? If so, what is your opinion of either/both?
Many thanks,

I updated my book in 2011 and added some new material. Both brands you mention are EXCELLENT colors. If my memory is correct I mentioned both in my updated edition.
